So we are semi new to the area and are just starting to explore outside of our town of Pompano Beach. Last week my husband had a business dinner at a restaurant called Yakitori Sake House. He enjoyed his meal so much that we took the family a few days later.
It is located in Boca Raton, FL. This is a beach town just north of us and it is packed with restaurants and shopping. Yakitori is tucked in a large complex and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very gracious and bow each time they come to or leave your table.
We started our meal off with a sake taster and an order of the crab stuffed shishito peppers. The peppers were delicious with the crunchy tempura batter and slight spiciness of the pepper. They lasted just a couple minutes at the table. The sake is reserved for sipping after eating the sushi rolls. They give you a sample of three different sake flavors. My favorite was the apple.
We then ordered three different sushi rolls. They had various fillings and toppers and were presented beautifully on one platter. I enjoy that over individual plates to not crowd the table. Overall I really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere and will definitely be returning. I should also mention my 4 year old daughter ate everything shown here and loved it too. There isn’t one bad thing I can say about the restaurant!
