Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Preheat an oven top skillet on medium high heat with olive oil. Salt and pepper both sides of chicken thighs. Place chicken skin side down in skillet. Brown for 10 minutes and then flip and brown an additional 5 minutes.
Remove cover, baste with remaining seasoning and bake an additional 10 minutes until chicken has reached an internal temperature of 180 degrees.
